Police officers from the Tangier Police Department arrested, on the evening of Thursday, October 16, a 23-year-old man with a criminal record, for his alleged involvement in a case related to the possession and trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances.
The suspect was apprehended at the Tangier railway station in flagrante delicto, while in possession of narcotics. The search operation led to the seizure of 3,060 psychotropic tablets of the “Rivotril” type, a quantity of hashish, and a sum of money suspected to be the proceeds of this criminal activity.
The suspect was placed under judicial custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to determine the circumstances and details of the case and to identify any possible connections to this criminal network.
